James Wrenn is a Partner at Knight Frank and Head of Hotel & Leisure Capital Markets, MEA. With more than 17 years of experience across the Middle East, Africa and Europe, he leads the firm’s hotel and leisure capital markets across MEA.
James specialises in hospitality investment advisory, hotel acquisitions and disposals, and joint venture structuring and funding. He advises institutional investors, REITs, private equity firms and family offices on capital partnerships, portfolio expansion, divestment and investment planning.
Before joining Knight Frank in 2025, James was Executive Director and Head of Capital Markets at Colliers, where he advised on major hotel transactions and capital strategies. He previously led the firm’s Hotels Advisory practice, advising investors, developers and government entities on hotel portfolios and mixed-use and tourism-led developments.
