Saadiyat Island

Saadiyat is the perfect place for villas and apartments for sale in Abu Dhabi. Located close to Abu Dhabi downtown, airport and the new cultural area, with superb sporting and leisure facilities on hand.

Saadiyat Island is a 27 square kilometre natural island, located close to Abu Dhabi downtown (less than ten minutes), 15 minutes to the new financial district, Sowwah Square and 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport. The island is being developed by Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) and is becoming a world class leisure, residential, business and cultural destination.

Living in Saadiyat

Saadiyat has several districts providing its own charm and aesthetics to the island and therefore choice to purchasers. Each development has a community feel with facilities including swimming pools, gym and retail all within close proximity to the natural Saadiyat beach.

  • Saadiyat Beach is currently the main residential aspect of the project and currently consists of 495 apartment units and 345 villas with a further 259 apartments and 32 villas in the St Regis Residences. This District will also include 10 hotels, retail and leisure elements.
  • Hidd al Saadiyat is the third division of the island to be under construction with the skeletons of 488 luxury villas visible and forecasted to be completed in 2016 by SDIC (Saadiyat Development Investment Company). All property on Saadiyat Island is available usufruct, meaning that it sold on 99 year leasehold for international investors yet GCC can buy freehold.
  • The Cultural District has recently launched the first residential phase at Mamsha Al Saadiyat, which continued to diversify the residential offering with over 414 units dire to be completed in 2017 and will complement the Louvre, District Mall and other cultural attractions.

Cultural attractions will include the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. Educational facilities include New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and Cranleigh School providing international curriculums and facilities.
