Dubai South is a 145 sq m master-planned city being built around the Al Maktoum International Airport, which will become the world’s largest airport upon completion. The airport will have capacity to handle over 200 million passengers and 16 million tonnes of cargo annually once completed providing access to the Middle East, Africa and South East Asian markets.
Dubai South has a Business Park at its core, providing free zone and non-free zone at the gateway of the Aerotropolis and logistics hub. The business park is located within the free zone and comprises of eleven buildings which accommodates start-ups to international corporations. Dubai South offers a seamless connection to Jebel Ali Port (the largest container port between Singapore and Rotterdam) via the dedicated Logistics Corridor allowing for greater opportunities. This logistics corridor enables the formation of a single customs-bonded zone, reducing time on the ground and accelerating the flow of sea-to-air cargo (4hrs from sea to air).
That in turn is attracting more logistics and manufacturing companies seeking to benefit from the region’s improving transportation links. Many multinational companies such as DHL, Aramex, Panalpina, Kuehne + Nagel and Hellmann-Calipar have already set-up facilities at the logistics hub. Dubai World Central’s logistics district continues to grow with Nestlé, Ikea, Landmark Group and Zainal Mohebi Holdings moving their regional headquarters to the business park. IKEA’s 1.2m sq m regional distribution centre is based in the Logistics District.
The district has dedicated pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities and is looking to add specific areas for perishables, fashion, IT and telecoms.

Located in the freight forwarding zone and is designed specifically for fast moving cargo and air freight. The units are smaller of c. 240 sq m with 10m internal height and column free layouts.
Freight House:
Designed for fast moving cargo and is located within the freight forwarding district. Unit sizes of c. 3,110 sq m with 11m internal height and column free layouts.
Logistics House:
Located in the Logistics Zone (c.21 sq m kms), the facility provides extended storage for clients which require. Unit sizes are c. 3,660 sq m, with 11m internal height and column free layouts.
